This year we have 6 playdays starting in March at Swenson Park GC. The Stockton Niners are the hosting club. In addition to the TOCC and Team Play, we will be having 2 day event in Monterey. So pack your bags and come to Monterey for a mini-vacation. More information will be forth coming on this event.
I will be at the workshops for Monterey, Bay, Stockton, and Redwood. (Unfortunately I will not be attending North Central or Sacramento.) Looking forward meeting 9 hole captains and reps at these workshop.
Remember that our annual 9 Hole Captains/Reps meeting will at Tracy CC on July 14th. No pink ball this year.
Our Niners have participated in two PWGA Playdays so far this year--one at Swenson's (Stockton) and one at La Contenta on April 19th. Both were well-attended with 56 at Swenson's and 48 at La Contenta. Winners at Swenson's were: Darlene Talbot, Donna Crowe, Cynthia Zimmermann, and Marilyn McRitchie (1st place); Sylvia Nymphius, Deb Penero, & Sue Lagomarsino (2nd); Debbie Wilson, Tami Krauss, Linda Parker & Lucy Viera (3rd); and Patty McDonald, Elma Savage, Susan Neubaum & Sue Spengler (4th). Winners at La Contenta were: Shirley Keyser, Shari Edwards, Marie Garcia & Joanne Alvernaz (1st); Cynthia Zimmermann, Linda Rowe, Cathy Strollp & Terry Wilder-Unruh (2nd); Pati Hendershop, Barbara Walker, Lucy Viera & Judy Bruenn (3rd). Both host clubs provided wonderful morning and lunch refreshments for their guests and everyone had a great time!
