The La Contenta Niners hosted a playday June 16th honoring the memory of Sue Eckblom, founder of the Niner Club's as part of the PWGA organization in 2005! There were 40 ladies participating from several Stockton Area clubs, including a number of PWGA board members. Sue Eckblom's daughter was invited for lunch an was able to share in the day. A wonderful memorabilia table was set up honoring Sue and the ladies provided both delicious breakfast goodies and a great lunch. Three teams were winners and there were also three "closest to the pin" winners, as well as two winners of a door prize of "golf for two with a cart at La Contenta"! Their club members did a terrific job coordinating everything, but especially Judy Bruenn and Patti Alderson.
